Our Caregivers

Care That Feels Like Home.

Peaceful Home Care was built on a simple belief: the people we care for deserve to feel at home, and the families who love them deserve to finally exhale.

To us, compassionate caregiving means respecting each person's dignity, supporting their independence, and understanding the familiar routines that make home feel like home. It also means helping families feel more comfortable with the decision to arrange care.

The Heart of Caregiving

Care Goes Beyond Everyday Assistance.

Helping with daily activities is part of what our caregivers do. But meaningful care also means understanding the person receiving it: how they like to start their morning, which choices matter most to them, and why being in their own home means so much.

We believe every person we care for deserves to be treated as someone's family.

  • Respecting preferences and routines

The way someone takes their coffee, the hour they like to rest, the chair they always sit in. Familiar routines are worth protecting.

  • Supporting independence and personal choices

Caregivers offer help where it's wanted and step back where a person can, and would rather, do things for themselves.

  • Companionship and a listening ear

A conversation, a shared meal, or simply a friendly presence during the day.

  • Everyday assistance with kindness and patience

Tasks are done at a pace that feels comfortable, never rushed, and always with respect.

  • Reassurance for families

Knowing a loved one is supported with care and respect can help families feel more at ease.

Our Values

The Values That Guide Every Act of Care.

Five commitments shape how Peaceful Home Care approaches every home we enter and every family we work with.

Compassion
We believe every person deserves to be treated with the same kindness, patience, and understanding we would want for our own family.
Dignity
Personal choices matter. Care should respect each individual's preferences, independence, and right to feel at home.
Dependability
Families need to feel confident about the support they arrange for their loved ones. Reliability and clear expectations are an important part of that trust.
Communication
Families deserve to understand what to expect, know who to contact, and feel comfortable asking questions.
Safety
Careful screening, registration, training, and planning help establish a foundation for responsible, dependable support.
Screened, Registered, and Trained

Trust Begins Before the First Visit.

The peace of mind families deserve starts with knowing that important steps are taken before care begins.

  • Fingerprint-based background checksCaregivers undergo fingerprint-based criminal background checks.
  • Registered with the stateCaregivers are registered with the California Home Care Aide Registry before working with clients.
  • Tuberculosis clearanceCaregivers are cleared for tuberculosis before working with clients.
  • Orientation and safety trainingCompleted before a caregiver's first visit.
  • Ongoing training every yearLearning continues after a caregiver joins our team.
  • Our own employeesCaregivers are Peaceful Home Care employees, not independent contractors.

No process can remove every risk or promise a particular outcome. These steps are how we build a responsible foundation for care before anyone arrives at your door.

Our Caregivers, Our Employees

A Team That Is Accountable to You.

Peaceful Home Care's caregivers are our own employees, not people sourced from an independent staffing pool.

That difference matters when you're inviting someone into a loved one's home. It means:

  • Clearer expectations about who will be providing care.
  • An established point of contact when questions come up.
  • An organization that is accountable for the care arrangements it makes.
  • A process for raising concerns or requesting a different caregiver.

Caregiver availability can change, and not every request can be accommodated right away. When that happens, we'll keep you informed and talk through the options with you.

Care Built Around the Individual

Personalized Care Starts with Listening.

No two people live the same way, so care shouldn't follow a single script. It should be shaped around each person's routines, preferences, and support needs, with the person receiving care involved in decisions about their own life and home.

  1. We listen firstLearning about routines, needs, and preferences.
  2. We plan togetherDeveloping a personalized care plan with the individual and their family.
  3. We review before care beginsGoing over the care arrangements before services start.
  4. We adjust as needs changeUpdating the care plan as circumstances evolve.

You can request a different caregiver

If a caregiver isn't the right fit, families can ask for a change. We'll work with you on it, though timing depends on availability.

Support for the Whole Family

Peace of Mind for the People Who Care.

Deciding to arrange home care is rarely simple. Many family members are balancing work, children, and their own lives alongside real concern for someone they love.

We believe families deserve the chance to exhale. Dependable, non-medical support at home can take some of the everyday load off your shoulders, so the time you spend with your loved one can be about being together.

  • Clear communication, so you know what to expect.
  • Help with everyday care needs.
  • Respect for your loved one's independence and preferences.
  • A clear way to ask questions or raise concerns.
  • A place for the family in the care conversation.
