About Peaceful Home Care

Care That Begins With Understanding

Peaceful Home Care provides compassionate, personalized in-home care for older adults. Before anything else, we take the time to understand the person we're caring for: how they like to live, what's become harder, and what matters most to them and their family.

Private-pay, non-medical home care for families across the San Fernando Valley, including Sherman Oaks, Encino and Studio City.

Home care is more than a list of tasks. It's someone who shows up, pays attention, and helps a person keep feeling like themselves in their own home.

Who We Are

Peaceful Home Care is a private-pay, in-home care provider serving families across the San Fernando Valley. Our caregivers support older adults with the parts of daily life that have become difficult, while leaving room for everything they still want to do on their own.

Our care is non-medical. It covers personal care, companionship, memory support, relief for family caregivers, transportation and comfort-focused support near the end of life, and it's designed to work alongside any medical care your loved one already receives.

Care happens at home, where people are most comfortable, surrounded by their own routines, belongings and neighborhood.

How we work

Our Approach to Care

Every family comes to us with a different situation. These are the ideas that shape how we respond to each one.

Start by listening

We begin with a conversation about your loved one's routines, preferences and what's changed recently, so care is shaped around the person rather than a fixed package.

Respect the way they live

Their home, their schedule, their way of doing things. Good care fits into a person's life instead of rearranging it.

Protect independence and dignity

We help with what's genuinely hard and leave everything else to them. Being able to keep doing things for yourself matters.

Build a real relationship

Care works best when there's familiarity and trust. A consistent, caring presence makes the day feel less like a service and more like company.

Keep the family close

You should know how things are going. Open communication gives families peace of mind and room to raise anything that needs to change.

Adjust as needs change

What's needed today may look different in six months. Care can be revisited and adapted as your loved one's situation evolves.

What we value

The Values Behind Our Care

Values only mean something if they show up in ordinary moments: a morning routine, a ride to an appointment, a quiet afternoon. These are the ones we hold ourselves to.

Compassion

Treating every person with kindness, patience and genuine understanding.

Dignity

Respecting each person's preferences, independence and individuality, every visit.

Trust

Being reliable, communicating openly, and earning the confidence families place in us.

Personal care

Recognizing that no two people or families need exactly the same support.

Why home matters

The Human Side of Home Care

For many older adults, home isn't just where they live. It's where their memories, habits and relationships are.

Support at home lets people hold on to those things while getting help with what's become harder. For families, it can mean less worry and more time simply being together.
